Biology
Found in bays, lagoons and estuaries; also on sandy bottoms near reefs. Feeds on small crabs and worms.

44.2 - 58.4 cm TL [# 25645]

Habitat
demersal; marine; depth range 1 - ? m, usually 1 - 35 m (Ref. 9265)

Dentition
The upper jaw teeth had 29 rows, which is consistent with previous reports (McEachran & Notarbartolo di Sciara, 1995; DelMoral-Flores et al., 2015a). All teeth were similar in size and shape, having an oval base and pointed cusp. [# 25645]
