Short Description
Original diagnosis after LAST & GLEDHILL, 2008 [3317]: A small Irolita with the following combination of characters: bluish spots on dorsal surface of disc not in dense aggregations; dark bands usually visible on tail; orbital thorns absent; snout to cloacal distance usually slightly shorter than tail; tail relatively narrow and thin in cross-section; caudal fin relatively long; posterior extremity of second dorsal fin well short of tail tip; distance from second dorsal-fin origin to tail tip exceeding 3.5 times width of mid-tail; minimum width of nasal curtain usually more than 2.5 times width of adjacent lobe; trunk centra 35–39; pectoral radials 87–94.
